Name resolution of fixed targets in the SIMBAD Astronomical Database and the NASA/IPAC Extragalactic Database (NED) is available. After entering the target name, click on the Resolve the Name button on the target entry dialogue. If the target is found in the selected database, HSpot will enter the coordinates (fixed target), or NAIF Identification number (moving target) automatically into the dialogue.
