HPDP WP Prioritisation

I've used the following reasoning:

  • Although I was recommended to get a somewhat even share of P1:P2:P3, I consider this is not a problem to still have "many" P1 as long as we feel confident they fit within our schedule and manpower budget. If resources drop prematurely at any given time, the priority should of course be revisited
  • Keeping the above in mind, I however identify so-called P1+ items that should be tackled with highest urgency. They basically correspond to products which, if lacking, would significantly affect the legacy usage of the Herschel data. I've also put in this category the PSCs because of their high-profile impact on the Herschel output exploitation
  • products coming from third parties have low priority as we have less control on the timeliness of their deliveries. That does not prevent that chasing the custodians of those for getting the product should be considered a high priority activity

Priority 1+:
PACS-S red leak (EPu/Samuel) - DONE
PACS-P PSC (LC+PSC WG) - ON TRACK FOR 1ST WEEK OF APRIL
SPIRE-P PSC (IV+PSC WG) - DONE
PACS-P PSFs ADP (LC) - DUE
PACS-S PSFs ADP (EPu) - DUE

Priority 1:
HIFI expert-reduced Spectral Scans (DT) - DUE
HIFI expert-reduced Spectral Maps (NHSC) - DONE
PACS-P Unimap processing (LC) - ON TRACK FOR 1ST WEEK OF APRIL
SPIRE-S Line Features Catalogue (RH) - DONE
SPIRE-S SECT-corrected monitoring sources (RH) - DONE

Priority 2:
HIFI concatenated Spectral Maps (TBD)
HIFI OFF spectra (MR/DT) - DONE
PACS-S blue spectra (EPu) - DUE
PACS-S unchopped (KE/Samuel) - DUE
SPIRE-S non-averaged level 2 (RH) - DONE

Priority 3:

PACS-S POC (EPu) - DUE
HIFI Line Catalogue (HIFI ICC) - note: low priority but WP basically completed
HIFI Anomalous observations Fix (DT) - DUE
PACS-P mini-scan level 2.5 (LC) - DUE
PACS-P GOODs field Unimap processing (BA) - DUE
PACS-P JScanam HPDPs (JGC) - note: low priority but WP basically completed
PACS-S non-standard AOT processing (KE)- DUE
PACS-S Anomalous observations Fix (KE)- DUE
PACS-S Line Features Catalogue (TBD)- No longer an HPDP (descoped)
PACS-S Bright Line Observations (PACS ICC) - now a UPDP
SPIRE-S Anomalous observations Fix (IV) - DUE
SPIRE-P GalPlane Level 3 (SPIRE ICC) - No longer an HPDP (descoped)
+ Any ADP not listed above (esp. those curated by the ICCs)
