Herschel Calibration Workshop -- 18-20 January 2012
Objectives
The main intent of this workshop is to concentrate on the calibration of Herschel spectrometers.
A feedback on photometer issues from the previous workshop and cross-calibration will also be included.
It is expected that we will have both plenary sessions and smaller splinter groups dealing with very specific topics in detail.
The key purpose of the calibration workshop is to go into fine detail the current means of flux calibration of all three instruments (e.g., methods of source spectral flux extraction, detailed analysis of current models being used and means of improving calibrations to be even better).
The workshop is open to all calibration scientists working on the calibration of the three instruments plus a number of invited experts.
