How can I check the status of my proposal after submission to the HSC?
Solution

Once you have received the confirmation message from the HSC that the submission process has been completed successfully, you can check at any moment the contents of your proposal, as recorded in the HSC database, using the options 'Retrieve latest proposal at HSC' and/or 'Retrieve proposal documentation', to retrieve your AORs and/or get a copy of the cover sheet and of the pdf file containing your scientific case, respectively. Both options are available from the "Submit" menu of the 'Proposal submission tool' window in HSpot.

Please note that when you retrieve the AORs you will see the current status in the Astronomer database, not the Operational database used for scheduling. This means that the latest updates may not yet be included and the most recently scheduled AORs may not yet be flagged as "Scheduled". The two databases are synchronised on a weekly basis.
