If a Line Spectroscopy AOR contains lines in the range from 98-103 microns:
- AORs from the KPGT database are readable in v3.0, but time estimation will fail. Please open the AOR and delete the invalid line from the PACS Line Editor.
- AORs from private directories cannot be loaded into v3.0. You should either edit the XML source of the .aor file and delete the invalidated line, or open the AOR within v2.0 and delete the line from the PACS Line Editor. If you prefer to manipulate the .aor file, the following pattern has to be cut out:
<v05:line> <v05:wavelengthId>Line 1</v05:wavelengthId> <v05:wavelength>99.0</v05:wavelength> <v05:fluxUnits>fluxWatt</v05:fluxUnits> <v05:lineFlux>0.0</v05:lineFlux> <v05:contFlux>0.0</v05:contFlux> <v05:lineWidth>0.0</v05:lineWidth> <v05:widthUnits>kms</v05:widthUnits> <v05:lineRepetition>1</v05:lineRepetition> </v05:line>
If a Line Spectroscopy AOR contains lines in the range 72-73 microns:
- AORs from the KPGT database are readable in v3.0 but time estimation will fail. Please open the AOR and switch the wavelength range option to 3rd+1st order combination. You may need to create a new AOR for this.
- AORs from private directories cannot be loaded into v3.0. You need to open the AOR within v2.0 and delete the line from the PACS Line Editor. Load the AOR into v3.0 and switch the wavelength range option to 3rd+1st order combination. You may need to create a new AOR for this.
If a Range Spectroscopy AOR contains a range entirely in the range 98-102 microns:
- AORs from the KPGT database are readable in v3.0, but time estimation will fail. Please open the AOR and delete the invalid range from the PACS Range Editor.
- AORs from private directories cannot be loaded into v3.0. You need to open the AOR in v2.0 and delete the range from the PACS Range Editor. The AOR then becomes readable by v3.0.
If a Range Spectroscopy AOR contains a range entirely in the range 102-105 microns:
- AORs from the KPGT database are readable in v3.0, but time estimation will fail. Please open the AOR and delete the range from the PACS Range Editor. You have to re-enter the same range and HSpot will set the corrected grating order information in the .aor file.
- AORs from private directories cannot be loaded into v3.0. You need to open the AOR within v2.0 and delete the range from the PACS Range Editor. In v3.0 you have to re-enter the required range.
If a Range Spectroscopy AOR contains a range in the 2nd order (old [72-105] and [105-210] ), with the blue edge of the wavelength range shorter than 98 microns and the red edge wavelength longer than 98 microns:
- AORs from the KPGT database are readable in v3.0 and the red edge wavelength will automatically reset to 98 microns.
- AORs from private directories can be loaded into v3.0 and the red edge wavelength will automatically reset to 98 microns.
