HSpot requires JAVA 1.6, so Intel Core 2 Duo processor and Mac OS 10.5.1 (or later) is the minimum that is required. JAVA 1.6 is not packaged with HSpot for Macs, so check that you have the most recent JAVA 1.6 release already installed before running HSpot. HSpot appears to work with auto-updates of JAVA. However, we caution that the Mac version of HSpot is the most likely to have significant problems for users due to incompatibilities of the operating system with some aspects of JAVA.
